Caring for Children

Is it ever alright to scream and yell at a child?  I see it all the time around me.  The children cringe and tense up in fear.  This can't be good for their physical or psychological development.  I find that a stern voice and a change in your demeanor followed by a calm discussion of why the behavior was wrong, works to foster understanding.

When it comes to rearing children perhaps it's the adult's responsibility to: Nurture, Love, Protect, Guide and Respect.  They're children in the process of growing up.  We can't expect them to know everything nor punish them for simply exploring their curiosity and sense of adventure.

As adults we don't know everything.  Evolving into becoming better human beings involves experience, learning, education and instruction.

I think that the journey should be constructive and fun for all...
